On Ram Navami, a special drink called Panakam is prepared and offered as prasad.

It is made using simple natural ingredients:

  • Jaggery (Gud)
  • Water
  • Dry ginger (Sunthi)
  • Cardamom
  • Black pepper
  • Tulsi leaves (optional)

Why Panakam is Perfect for This Season

During this time, Pitta dosha increases in the body due to rising heat. Panakam helps balance this and supports overall health.
